So much work!

Jake Richmond on June 26, 2015

This summer you can see some of my Modest Medusa art at the Portland Art Museum as part of the Mythos Challenge. I was invited by my friend Wolfie who is a member of the Mythos Youth Council to contribute two pieces of art that represent my modern take on classic myths.

I chose to summit both a print of The Kingdom Strikes Back, part 11 and a hand drawn and colored recreation of Sneaky Snake, which was one of the earliest Modest Medusa strips (above).

The exhibit also includes an audio interview which isnt too awful (I always hate how I sound when recorded) and some nice photographs by the museum staff. And of course Im just one of several artists featured in this gallery. Theres some really fantastic stuff on display. Please check it out!
