Page 1 - Midnight City
TheGhost on Nov. 30, 2017
I'm not going to lie, the first panel was a pain to start. Several attempts were scraped before settling on the final version. I've never been that great at speedpainting, and this panel took me a day to complete. On a side note, I've always loved how large cities look at night. Even my computer's wallpaper is a photo of a city at night.
As of today, I have five more pages to finish for this small scene, then I can begin working on Chapter 7. I'm already looking forward to the fun that one will bring. More art challenges! Wheee!

Yeah, that first panel is stunning - more detail that I could've ever done!! Sorry it was hard on ya, but it paid off for us!!! :D

The first panel was definitely worth the effort. Cityscapes take forever! I did a full-page one in my old printed comic, and it took about 20 hours.

Spooky. Turn on the lights, never know who could be waiting in the dark.
