Back in the day we used to call kids like that a squealer and chanted a traditional but rather mean (and, alas, untranslatable) doggerel about how a squealer won't get anything in any store and therefore is upset all the time. You could expand it with another stanza which claims that tell-tales end up wetting their beds as a result of being so upset, and maybe, just maybe, it even kind of served as a jinx to make them do so... Today people call them whistle-blowers and celebrate them on the internet - Oh, how the times have changed! ;)
