I'm having trouble with the fact that you call yourself 'the mediocre one' and can find anyone more humble than you are.

Actually, most sprite comic artists are pretty humble, but in an annoying way. Like, they vent how bad they are through gobs of self referential humor and whatnot, which has become almost an absurdly cliche'd joke in Sprite comics, or webcomics in general.
