There's a comic (I believe it's Cable and Deadpool) where he gets his brains scrambled (I don't remember how or why…it's been a while since I've read them) and he's finally recovered and one of the ways he checks his brain is to think in those little yellow boxes.

Ohh...I remember that now. He got his brain scrambled in Cable and Deadpool and he was fixed at the end of Agent X. The whole reason I read Agent X was to find out what happened to Deadpool.

I love Cable and Deadpool. Even though towards the end Cables not actually in it.
