909. Batmobile: Arkham Knight

Sameth on Aug. 7, 2015

Arkham Knight is both the reason for this comic and the reason why this comic is late.
Okay, so…I think Rocksteady heard the constant stream of “Put the batmobile into an Arkham game!” to heart…a little too much because it is literally like half the game.
The game is fun, don't get me wrong. I'm loving it so far, but the driving and shooting segments are getting a little tedious, I don't like the Arkham Knight as much as I was hoping to (he's like if Darth Vader never stopped being annoying Anakin), and other than that…I don't have much else to say about it. I love this Scarecrow, but he doesn't do much after a certain point. At least at the part of the main campaign I'm at.
Now for the good…I really do like the look of the game. Makes me glad I bought a PS4. The voice acting is, once again, top notch, I like the main mission/side mission selection, controls are about the same (don't really like the car mode for Batmobile controls. I drive it in tank mode more than I should). Combat is about the same with some added quirks that are really cool.
I don't think Arkham fans will be disappointed (I sure as hell am not), but for better or worse, it's VERY different from Arkham Asylum, City, and Origins.
