1216. Clue on the Murder Express

Sameth on Sept. 22, 2017

Sadly, this is based on a real conversation between a co-worker and I, except ours had more of her dismissing what I was saying based on an “I don't care” and me “Well, ack-tually”-ing all over the place. Sometimes I'm way too caught up in semantics. The only point I was trying to make was that it can't be Clue on a train because that would imply that Clue came first. Movie wise…ehh…this version did come after Clue, but it's based on a book from the 30s whereas the movie Clue is based on a board game created in the 50s. I'm sure Agatha Christie inspired Clue as well as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and other mystery writers. If anything, Clue is Murder on the Orient Express in a mansion. (If you've read the book, that's not far off.)

I know this doesn't matter, but it made me cringe to hear the book being called “Clue on a train.”
