is it refering to the movie with that giant tentacle thing in tokyo on the front cover? and what exactly is your source of this info?

It costs 13 bucks at wal-mart. However, be aware, like I said in the authors notes. I've watched the film several times now and have been unable to pinpoint it (I even watched the deleted scenes) But if you find it, lemme know.

I'd believe it; I noticed that one scene in Charlie's Angels had some kids playing Final Fantasy VIII (they're controller movements were overly spastic for a JRPG, but whatever)

Well supposedly it was a Japanese film very similar to Cloverfield, thats all I know. And since I haven't seen the movie I dunno how accurate it is. It seems weird that a monster movie would reference a video game in dialogue.

I'm not sure how many movies are titled "Monster" so I'm probably wrong but when I watched it I didn't see or hear anything Persona related.
