Here’s some current news since I’ve not got much to say about this page today. The latest page of Pinky TA is dragging its arse because doing the colouring has become boring for some reason… What can I do to make that process more fun?
Page description:
Not much to say here… She’s mad at her near death experience and so she’s going back to bed! Well, what else is there for her to do? She’s not a member of the crew… She’s there from the army (armoured cavalry), everyone else is working… She’s just a passenger on a working ship/ The only passenger.
Commentary:
I was very disappointed with this page when I first did it. I did it on a whim, just to get a nice stylish Art Nouveau page… Often I’m more partial to the art of Pinky TA, at the expense of the story. But now, I actually like this page! That hair looks groovy.
That’s all. There really isn’t much to say about this one.

I love how you've drawn her hair! That's a great style. How can you make coloring easier? Dare other people to do it! ^_^

In don't see why you would have been dissapointed with this page - you're right, the hair looks great and really brings the entire thing alive! I can't think of anything that might make the colouring process more fun for you, but the end results are always very fun for the readers :)

Ya! Mina uses that Mucha style a lot. A lot better than me! Office: Click the + and see! ^_^ -it's a link to the DD profle if an artist has more than one comic. Ghost in the shell id goooood. I've got some trax here and there. I prolly take too many breaks though.

Ah! That style of drawing the hair like that reminds me a lot of Mina Lunga's style from Gnoph! I think it gives a very cool effect here. Ah, poor antisocial Pinky...

Ah, yes... in the armed forces one must snatch their naps when they can! Her hair is an interesting experiment indeed. I like the "strawberry milkshakes' comment too. A question pertaining to the comics list above, (perhaps I am just dense, but...) what do the plus marks denote?

Hehehe Ccs1989, realistically there's nothing she [i]could[/i] do ^_^ Going to bed [i]looka[/i] petulant (because I want it to), but on a working warship an untrained person is worse than useless, she'd be a liability to the real crew. And as a senior officer she wouldn't want to muck in with them anyway. She couldn't help the officers in their jobs either, because they're so specialised. All she could do is socialise with off-duty officers in the mess. So at best she's being anti-social, not lazy. Ah Ruka, yep, lots of music... but what's the right sort for the mood? I never know. On that hair Coy? Strawberry milkshakes!

I wish if I were in battle I could just go back to bed. See Pinky seems to have too much of an attitude in this kind of situation. What exactly should she do, I know, but she could at least help man the cannons!

The hair is very nice, but check out the doorknob. Nobody ever stops to appreciate a well drawn doorknob.

The border around the hair is very interesting I'm not sure I like it being isolated from the rest of the figure it's interesting.

Before I read the commentary I was going to say, I like the hair. Now I changed my mind. Your backgrounds still blow me away!
