lol oh lordy ok "Vive, Viva and Vivat are interjections used in the Romance languages. Vive in French, Viva in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish, and Vivat in Latin and Romanian are subjunctive forms of the verb 'to live'. They literally mean, 'live!' (imperative form), and are usually translated to English as 'long live'. So that should straighten up which is French and which is Spanish. Completely in French it would be "VIVE LA REVOLUCION". Thus blindfold AND Rowsen are wrong, which makes their argument pointless. Tiny Napolean (who isn't Napoleon or he'd have spelled his own right) mixed French and English because he knows most of the readers here are dipshits and wouldn't understand if it was all in French. My ENTIRE point is if he had WANTED to he could have said anything he wanted in any language he knows and it's wrong to assume that he ONLY speaks French and English because that's all you've SEEN him speak.

but you're assuming he's some kind of robot who can't make decisions based outside of set programming! He's a person by golly! A really teeny person, granted, but a person nonetheless! He obviously speaks french and english, so why COULDN'T he speak another language? Is it only human capacity to know words in TWO languages? I know words in several languages! Does that make me inhuman? Or are you trying to say that Tiny Napolean is mentally deficient in some way? Just because he didn't do it in the first balloon doesn't mean he couldn't in OTHER balloons!

OK Mr I'm So Smart But Anonymous Guy (btw, I do agree with the comics crappyness, in case ya hadn't noticed, but this silly argument is far too fun to pass up), if you want to take the first bubble into consideration, let's look at "ze". This is obviously the stereotypical French pronunciation of "the". It is thus, neither French NOR English. Then, in the second bubble he say "the" instead. What's up with that? It means he switched from French pronunciation to English pronunciation from bubble to bubble, thus crushing your argument that he wouldn't change languages either. People can be unpredictable...especially miniature representations of diminutive dead historical figures. I'm curious how many of those you know personally to make such "certain" statements about how they would talk.

There is still one flaw with your logic, jauntx and random shitty sprite guy avatar guy. At the beginning of the speech bubble, we clearly see that "Napolean" says oui. At no point in that bubble does he mix languages besides French and English. Therefore, why the hell would you be led to believe that random languages were being mixed? Random shitty sprite guy avatar guy made a mistake while also being an indignant asshole. But that doesn't excuse the fact that this comic is utter shit.

Except, dear blindfold, that if the statement was intended to be French through and through it wouldn't say "the" which is, of course, English. Thus, it could be concluded that Mini Napoleon may have been intentionally mixing languages and in fact fully intended to say Viva instead of Vive. Only Shadow knows for sure. On the plus side, we in the comments section knew it to be Napoleon and not "Napolean". I'm wondering if PS2 and 529 (second panel) might combine forces. Together they might be able to beat "Napolean"

This whole comic is a parody comic, right? Please tell me it is. Even then it would still be horrible, but I could rest easy knowing you're TRYING to be horrible. The PS2 in panel 2 is just a copy and paste mirror image of panel 1. Did you think people wouldn't notice this? For crying out loud, you even left the PS2 logo backwards!
