Now that someone mentions it, I can see some Ulysses comparisons here, sure. I mean, just look at how similar the two protagonists are (in theme and action, not in setting, obviously.)

@What. I fail to see how this can be compared in any way to the novel Ulysses. I also cannot see how you came to the conclusion that I would dismiss it in such a manner. And finally, I do not see how someone who reads such high level reading material, such as yourself, could even read this and enjoy the writing. But as I've said before, it's your opinion, and no matter how confusing it may be, I'll respect it.

I_Merican, you seem like the sort who'd read Ulysses and dismiss it as words on too many pages. You know, now that I think about there are really very few differences between Ulysses and Powerup Comics at all.

@Whaaaat I'm sorry, but, what ideas? I hadn't noticed anything resembling an intelligent idea in the dialog so far. Are you and I reading different comics here? And when I say something's better than this, I don't just mean it's more funny and interesting. I also mean that it is thought provoking and has some level of intelligence applied to it. Unlike this.

.....sorry, I still don't understand why this is top ten. the thing that gets me is overuse of copypaste. and more miss than hit jokes. it also looks like you ran the smudge tool ovr everything, but did it lazily. not gunna rate because enough people already have stated my feelings.

@ I_merican: I stay here for the pure, liquid cool that oozes from every panel. I've a few very minor objections with the scaling Chug employs in his artwork along with one or two clumsy usages of metaphor in Shadow's dialogue, but I'm learning so much about the future right now that can't really care. This is more a comic of ideas than of base entertainment anyways, as I'm sure you've noticed.

....That's not future Chug. If it's supposed to be, than Chug should have remembered to paste on those idiotic "cyborg parts". You know. Those circles. Those things that take 2 seconds to create no matter what illustrator you're using. I really wish you would apply some effort into this. I also wish it was even a little funny, but I doubt you'll work on that either, judging from how you've responded to criticism so far. I must say, it puzzles me that some people like this comic so much. It almost seems like they're doing it just because they want to be cool and go against what everyone else thinks. But that's ridiculous, huh? Surely no one would be do that. But then, how could anyone be ignorant of all the other webcomics, especially the ones not on Drunkduck, out there that are so much funnier, more interesting, and nicer to look at than this one? It defies logic that they've never seen something better than this. Something someone actually applied even a miniscule amount of effort to. It's like they never go anywhere else on the internet at all...
