@Primalx3: Typically a traditional animation of 60 seconds can take anywhere from three to eight weeks months of work depending on the level of detail from beginning to end and number of people involved. If for example you use programs such as flash or animate pro, it can take less time depending on weather you choose to draw it, or longer depending on if you make a puppet. CG wise, Maya can take forever if you are starting from scratch, i.e. setting up the skeleton and skin, not to mention the actual animation (the many tweaks involved to make it look fluid.)
My advice: Pick something you like and learn as much about techniques and ways to cut corners as possible to get a good quality job done. Also don't be afraid to start over if it goes FUBAR.

Not bad work, and its not that Animation itself is hard, it's just very time consuming :)

Whoa, awesome page! :} I wonder where its headed. Ah, I see. I was asking cause I made an 7 minute animation when I was 17 in 3 months of free time. {Literrally! Like, all my free time went into that animation.} It was thousands of frames, but it was all pencil, no colors. Basically, done traditionally then scanned. It was kind of neat, I wish I had somehow kept a copy of it. :{ It got lost with an old computer. I made an attempt this year, but an hour produced only 2 seconds, which is why I ask, lol. I'm either slow or its JUST that hard. D: Animation #A. http://i.imgur.com/IHcMh.gif Animation #B. http://i.imgur.com/EkHRZ.gif
