The teacher character here is designed after Gosho Aoyama (writer of Case Closed) at the end of every Manga he has a little drawing of himself getting killed in some way. As a matter of fact this character is NAMED Mr. Aoyama.

Because he sleeps in his underwear and Gouto spooked him so he ran right out the door. Now the question of why he decided to run to school like that is a different matter xD
