Fight scenes are really tough for me to draw, but I'm always a little happy when they turn out looking alright. The thing to remember is that with Tanuki being drunk here is that being drunk makes Tanuki a better fighter. She's supposed to be stronger and more agile. So with our “mysterious” demon beating her this badly, you know he's gotta be tough.
How are Johei and friends going to get out of this one? Wait and see.
Oh and anyone curious about Baku's face in the third panel…I dunno. The faces are usually the last thing I draw. It just seemed like it would be funny with the pose there.

Baku's face makes good sense. His friends are being mercilessly beaten by a dude. As lazy and gluttonous as Baku is, he does genuinely care for Johei and Tanuki.
