[30] Giant Hamburger

I have to confess that I'm slightly embarassed by this comic. It's definitely not funny but I guess I was so glad I actually got the characters from When the Wind Blows drawn correctly that I figured it was worth it?

For those of you who aren't sure or don't know, the art gallery where I live actually does have a giant hamburger. It's one of Oldenburg's soft scupltures, the Giant Hamburger (or just plain old Hamburger.) It's made out of canvas and features a giant pickle on top (the green thing.) I did my first year art history paper on that piece and I think I did some other assignment on it as well during my fourth year. I can't quite remember it right now.

What's probably more hilarious about it (at least more hilarious then my comic) was that when the Giant Hamburger was first bought, people protested. They felt that it was a waste of money and shouldn't be considered art. One group protested by making a giant ketchup bottle and leaving it at the gallery's doorsteps.

On a more comic related tidbit…Kittygirl's hair was crossed hatched throughout this whole comic with a 0.01 pen. That in itself took a while to do. :S
