Yep, the phrase is outta there)) But actually 'Advocatus Diaboli' meant a clergyman, whose duty during the debates on whether this or that man should be acknowledged as a saint was to speak out the arguments 'contra', therefore providing a dose of healthy scepsis) It's true for Barrister Gordon btw, for he tends to see the worst in the people first... and than make good use of it, heheh. %)
