Issue 13-12

And that brings this issue to a close. Yeah, I know, I totally killed the tension with this page, but regardless of scoring the kill or not, SHELL made his decision, and now it's out there, though only one person in the world knows about it.
Minimal background info on Weaver: She's locally-based in Vietnam. The glowing strings are more like energy threads rather than a physical fiber. Probably won't see much of her at all in the future… so the question, I guess, is: Why did she cover for SHELL? My answer: just plain sympathy.
Okay, what's in store for SHELL:
I have a super short issue next up. Then, I've got a mid-sized issue written by a surprise guest writer, so you can anticipate it's a crossover of some sort. I'm very excited to render that one as well.
The super short issue will start up shortly. I'll be working on some pages for Heroes Alliance # 2 for the next couple of days before I get back here on SHELL. Like I said a couple of days ago, Heroes Alliance # 1 is planned to start this month (which I did three pages for). SHELL's in it, and the script is a good one, so definitely keep an eye out for that one!

Great little surprise ending there. And good to know Weaver's understanding and has Shell's back like that...

*whew* I thought we were gonna have another Energize situation here.

Weaver's a pretty interesting looking character.

Very good! And we have a new character (Weaver) to look forward to seeing again.

Aww! A good way to show what the character is prepared to do though... kill.

Nice work on the tension building for the strip

Weaver did it because that's what she'd expect any other hero to do for her. Makes total sense. Awesome issue.
