Interesting logic, Negative Zero. Even two pages in a I can see you put a lot of thought into this beforehand. Intentionally leaving eyes out, with a STATED psychology reason behind it, tells me you've got something good planned. Bravo!

There's a reason for the eyelessness: eyes are the gateway to the soul, and therefore, removing the eyes detaches you from feeling for or against the character. Also, in dreams only the important stuff gets shown, the people are lucky they're even there.
