However did you know?

Here's Nancy's dad. Not too sure what to name him (was going to name him “Joseph”, but I'm iffy on it), so he'll be either “daddy” or “dear” for now. He and his wife currently manage their village's only inn, but he actually used to be an ironsmith for many long years. He's a pretty no-nonsense sort of man, and knows exactly how to deal with his daughter's brain.

This was an OMGWTF worksome page. Midway through it I caved in and used a large brush in low opacity for shading XD There was no way I'd shade those stones with a 3-sized brush. And I don't know what came over me to add the dramatic lighting in the last two pannels - I had planned to make it a closed room with a lamp or torch… aff. I should stop being masochistic.

I'm honestly surprised by the amount of feedback I've gotten in these first few pages ^_^ It makes me very glad, thank you all very much. Now that I've measured my pace, I think this will be a comic per week at the very least, probably two. On the other side, the next pages haven't been sketched yet. I'm pretty confident, though - I won't have to be inking over blurry, old pencil lines. XD

I'm still figuring out most of drunkduck, but it seems you can add a character page. How do you do that? Do I have to link it from my own website?

Well, that's it. Next page - our mysterious character finally does more apart from moaning!
