I do realize that they stand on opposite sides, and am moreso implying that it shouldn't be. I'm just wildly throwing that assumption out here that if the guardian of one of the Core Emeralds dies, terrible things will happen. Like an infinite stop in all the universe's ice cream production. So yeah, kinda weird Anderson tries to provoke that. Unless he doesn't know better. Which would be like Knuckles not knowing what colour the Master Emerald is. *looks at the mess of debris, linen and banshire guts and sighs* I'll get the broom.
Well my only gripe with it is its a huge amount of exposition that could be explained in moderation. It does work and make sense, but you could have saved some of the exposition later while running towards a life threatening crisis to fill time. As for chaos *stuffs the sack into itself* fire in the hole.*runs out the door*
the same goal, but on opposite sides. I'm not going to pretend that I know the full implications of this exposition, but it seems likely that the dark and light are at war in this world. by definition, that puts DN and (I don't know his name so I shall call him Anderson) in conflict. further guesswork would have me assume from dialog that DN is trying to use darkness for good while Anderson is naive and just doing what his superiors tell him to do. also I feel compelled to cause chaos. *stuffs entire castle in sack*
It's not too much. Easy to follow, though it makes me wonder how DN and the white echidna are foes if they, essentially, are on the same side. They both have the same goal, don't they?

I agree it is a tad much to follow. Still, it does explain why you are a vampire. So, that's one more hole that's been filled.
