You may notice a couple of things different on this page compared to the previous ones. But I suddenly had a desire, no, a NEED, to put those nose protector things on Robert's glasses. :P
What actually happened is that I put this comic up for review and everyone panned it. While there were a few other things (generic characters, no character development) individuals didn't like, they all agreed that the sketchy nature of the comic was a distraction and they didn't like it.
So what the hey, now we have colour. Please feel free to give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism about my colouring, it is something I have rarely done, and never done particularly well.
photoshop cs3. I have checked out what you were talking about and will try it with the next page. BTW, when you say 'bold' are you saying teh colours are so bright your eyes bleed a little? It is something I have always done and am working on :)
ok, your use of color is bold. you might get some better results if you start with gradiants before you shade. also, while i dont shade much, if you select the area you want to color, shade it a bit, then float the image so it doesnt bleed. with the image floating i slap a gaussian blur on it to fuzz the edges of light and dark. the gives the eye a smoother transition from light to dark. just a bit off advice that will make things a little faster and thus easier for you
