Prison piece - Sune's crew

That's not Mother Neimotch behind Chelsea, Sune, Kariz, Shang, and Goshen, that is Neihol. He has not appeared in the comic as such. At least not as an adult. I wrote about him in prose while I have been away. I wrote 600 pages longhand, and it still isn't finished.

These will be a tad out of order, for the sake of relevance. And almost all of them were done with substandard material like copy paper and flexi (anti-suicide/shiv) ballpoint pens.

So, yeah. MIA. Let's see, where to start?

Did prison for a time. Lost pretty much everything while I was in. House, animals, family keepsakes, friends – including Ant, the guy who did some layouts for Sune who I'd known since the 1990's; but you learn in lockup that people are slack and most are fuckboys. Want to know who your friends and family really are? Get in a bind. Go to lockup. And that's not to say HOW those people you knew in the freeworld behave, but rather who even sticks around once shit gets complicated. When it's not as easy as a text or a like. When it comes to writing a letter or a postcard, putting money on the phones, putting money in canteen.

You learn who they are by who even stays.

Managed to walk out the other side with my daughter (the most important), my car and five totes of stuff (some clothes and family photos) – thanks to one single friend who held that stuff down – and 40 lbs of legal work, prison art, and longhand writing.

Any other questions? Ask.

Here's some prison art. If you get more, you do. If not…maybe I'm back in. System failed once. I didn't trust it before and after having experienced it first hand I trust it even less.

But hey, my lack of faith in it is why I write about anarchists and immoralists.
