Even more death?!

Where we've got to: Princess Yuki and her cat Tetsu and Princess Mika are in the shadow realm and everything has changed. Seeking to rectify the corrupt timestream, the wandering monk Uesugi went back in time and killed the young General, resulting in the present General's warped rabbit samurai army and Lord Neko's camp vanishing, leaving an empty wasteland in its place. Two huge demon sentries appeared and took Yuki and her companions to a cluster of buildings enclosed by a high wall, which reminded Yuki of the place she met her mother's spirit and skewered a cunning demon on her sword, The Voice of Thunder. Here they meet an old man also reminscent of someone Yuki encountered before, when they pursue him Tetsu stumbles into a tavern full of feasting pig-men who squeal in delight at the sight of a cat. The pig-men pour out of the building and Tetsu leaps through a doorway to escape, Mika then pushes Yuki after her cat and slams the door shut behind her….
