As mentioned before a sorceress can identify the magic of another sorceress because each one has a magical “signature” Here Glorianna says “aura” which is the energy field that surrounds all living things. Some auras are much more powerful and dynamic than others. Some just exist, others interact and a sorceress' aura is the focal point of her magic.
If a sorceress works closely with another she will know and be able to detect the other's magical signature. If skilled enough she may even be able to affect the other's magic.
Hey. didn't Banes do a newscast recently about “prehistory” of a story? Well here's some bits and pieces. You even see a young Searsha with the woman who became Glorreaka. There was a kind of transformation involved and it's not make-up. Glorreaka is a bit more than the average evil sorceress.
The “cursed Daughter” is named Fresrekka or Fresreaka. She is the opposite of Annah. She is red skinned with black hair. She is known as the cursed Daughter because she's Annah's daughter by the inhuman dark God Revdellan. Annah gave herself to Revdellan to save several other deities including her sister Breeannah. Breeannah is always laughing and playing jokes but inhuman dark gods do not have good senses of humor.
Yes, nice touch on the prehistory - gives the story more weight (not that it needed much more...) So... what happens if I say Fresrekka three times...? Fresrekka... Fresrekka... Fre... Can't do it! :D
Mystical detective work ahead! That's a nice touch that they're superstitious about speaking the name of Glorreaka. It only makes sense that a society so in touch with magic would be weird about things like that.
Okay so it all goes to the great houses; the Starks, Lannisters -- wait that's not it. In a hole there lived a hobbit-- no. Yeah, I definitely need to do one.
