Meanwhile, back to the other part of the plot as Dame Bridget sets out on her journey. This is also a revisit with Falkimir, Alemir, Darran and Glorianna. This is just a three page interlude before we get back to the fight with Ragnar.
I have a huge box full of horses. They were on sale ten years ago from J.C. Penny for over 60% off after Christmas. They were all greys though. Two cans of spray paint and black mohair later and we have Bridget's fine new black. Black horses aren't really all black, they're actually a very dark brown fading into lighter brown underneath as here. And look at all those knights. For variety I have at least six in the collection that are mixed and matched in the backgrounds. Those helms make it easy to keep them interchangeable.
Remember in all those meetings every time Glorianna came close to Falkimir she blushed? Yeah, she's beginning to fear where it might lead. But Glorianna is the at exact opposite end of the spectrum from what we've already seen. Contrasts and juxtaposition. If there was an essay test on this there'd be a lot of “compare and contrast” questions.
These last few scenes were not in the original few drafts of the story. Alemir wasn't in it at all. Though my first D my infamous gunpowder campaign with musketeers and fancy lace) Here the first three campaigns have been smushed together into one lifetime. Makes for a better book. Moagedei and Ragnar are both from campaigns set on the continent that were DMed by someone else. His continent became the continent that my two islands were three weeks sail away from.
that horse looks good Bravo! as always love the wardrobes on the characters. Falkimir...dude, listen to me, man...find a way OUT of that coming wedding! If you dont want to be dirt broke in 6 months time...a little arsenic in her wine....three times daily....that ought to do it dude!
Yeah I remember the Blushing Glory!! Nice work with those horses! Were they 'Barbie' horses, meant to be used for figures this size? (wondering since you said they were all grey... I'm picturing a flat great, intended to be painted...)
I meant "grey" as in the coloration of the horse. They were white and light grey with silver manes. I also have horses that came in brown that I put black undercoats and white blazes and stockings on.
I have Barbie ponies among my herd but these are full size boys' action figure horses which are good for a war horse as opposed to a riding horse or a pony.

These kind of love triangles never end well... which is why we all love to watch them.

Sounds like you got a good deal on the horses.

Haven't been able to find them since for less than $100 each.

John and Sean were in at least one movie together as I recall. The longest Day.

True, but they didn't appear together. Did either ever appear with Alec Guinness?

Glorianna might beat him to it. You know how jealous and vicious sisters can be over one man.
