When I conceived this strip, I thought I might be taking things too far. But now, Republicans are divided over Roy Moore and the allegations of him being a pedophile. One of his supporters actually invoked the age difference between Jesus' parents in his defense. How the hell do you satirize that? Another instance of life imitating this strip in its own perverse way.

How little has changed since the 1990s. MSNBC and CNN said all the same things about that occupant of the white house and that wasn't fiction. And I was listening and watching and quit the Democratic party just like I'm switching again because of this new hypocrisy. Go Phil Murphy!

I was an Independent until 2008 when I felt the urge to have a voice in the Democratic primaries after 8 year long horror show that was the Bush administration. I figured it was better to have a voice and try to swing the Democrats more to the left than the right of center position they've staked out since 1992. But with all this Bernie business, they're sorely testing my patience. Once the Clinton dynasty is over and done with, maybe the Democrats might remember what being a liberal actually entails and stop being a kinder and gentler corporate lackey.
