Star Strip issue 1 page 4

Rickover introduces Chief Engineer Angie Coleen. Scotty is just visiting. He is a more senior engineer so he rates a heavy cruiser like Enterprise not a scout.
A major theme of this story will be tolerance. Aordians and Diamorians were the two most successful colonizations attempts from an antedeluvian Earth. They have been in constant competion ever since. Their conflict has often been very savage and cruel full of atrocities.
There may not be as much toplessness as in the past. A few of the ladies might even keep their underwear on.

Such intense drama in these little panels. and sexual innuendo?!

Kirk, you reprobate!

@bravo1102: Boy, you hit the nail on the head there! That's why I could never stand the Star Trek franchise: Even though it took place in some sort of idyllic future, and society was supposedly much more enlightened, the entire show mostly imagined an entire galaxy that was just as rigidly patriarchal as our world of today.

He's just begging for a knee to the groin area.

"Old boys club" of ship captains keeps Rickover safe from harassment charges. A hearing would be presided over by his peers who are also all male ship captains and well "men will be men" That'll give me some nice stuff to play with in future stories. ;-)

"It's good to be the king" or captain.

Being a captain is a good gig!

I guess tolerance is the only thing preventing the women of the Surprise from tossing their sexually-harassing captain out an airlock.

lol... "stripping, um, serving..." Speaking of, I foresee a potential topless catfight between these two in the future!

I got your passions right here.
