I've always wanted to use this blurb in a comic: MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE HALL OF FRIENDSHIP!
Finally … I've realized one of my goals with Superchum!
Also, take note that yes, Superchum seems to have had a “shared” dream with the Anti-Chum. The game is afoot!
Pop Culture References: The one poster on Superchum's wall is from the Befriender Ministry Foundation. I don't know much about them other than the hand shaking icon and the shared name of befriender. The other poster on his wall is the movie poster for Groundhog Day, one of my all-time faves. The picture on his dresser is of former PSU school newspaper Editor in Chief Patricia Tisak, who is partly the inspiration for the mysterious woman in this particular story (yeah, this is an age-old tradition in Superchum … if I meet you IRL, odds are some aspect of you might end up sparking a storyline, or generating a cameo).
That's about all I can think of. Enjoy this week's dosage of pure uncut chumliness! And wait till you see what's in store later this month!

I just noticed a resemblance between Superchum and Baby Ama (a fictional character in Tagalog movies)

Love the narration. Reminds me of the silver age comics, or the game Freedom Force!

the hall shown right next to a house cracked me up. i bet the guy that lives next to it pays a huge insurance bill.

I got to get used to see a classic supers HQ in a suburb, it's graphically very unusual, but also very logical.
