Chard's daytime outfit is a mix of things I've always wanted to wear: a bath robe, a kilt sporran, and a hiphop style name necklace big enough to serve as plate armor…
freefall... i'm not sure how Chard fits in to the earlier paradigm, but he does bring street smarts to the table, being from the wrong side of the tracks. Bardo and Shiyu are both prep school kids.
In the backstory I've developed, Dwyer is actually in a poor neighborhood too, now. he grew up with Bardo almost like a brother, since Ms. Dwyer was a live-in servant in Bardo's vast household. but then came the nano-accident, Owen was lobbed, and Ms. Dwyer fired.
I enjoy how they are walking around in a beautiful, (if a but overdone) landscape and they are upset that they no longer have their nightmare ruins.
"These fools wouldn't recognize culture if it bit them in the butt!"
I liked the woman in the neck stretcher. Nice take on fashion in the future. You have a great nack for adding well thought out elements like that.
Where's Owen? Is he the flying spy eye? Does he have issues about being out in public?
If the first three are Brawn, Conscience & Brains, does that mean Chard is Comic Relief?

Yeah, I'm just going to stare in awe.

Ahaha, Bardo's proper-young-man hairstyle... I'm bummed that the ending's approaching, though.

Jilly... there are a few more pages, but yeah basically we're at the end...

Great story arc! I enjoyed it greatly! Is this the end or will there be more to the story?

Always figured they lived there. I don't know many kids who do any kind of serious "work" outside their home neighbor hood.

Sweet.
