subtle social commentary, or Jinx being himself?

So I had ten billion different rants/explanations I was going to type up, but as I mentally reviewed them while I colored this page, I decided they were too whiny, too triggering, or could be misunderstood. That and I doubt many people care.
But in any case. Yes, I'm alive. I've been working through a creativity block with this story. While I have this current chapter completed, I'm going into the third re-draw of the next chapter and it's frustrating. I have several different story ideas that I want to work in, but I keep getting hung up on “am I revealing too much too fast? If I reveal this will I have story afterwards or will I put myself in another plot limbo?” “Why do I even bother when -insert low self esteem bitching here-”
So I took a year off, and the block has only been partially chipped away. I'm going a different route, and focusing on different stories for now, just to see if burnout was the cause of this gigantic deeply embedded pimple of a creativity clog.

It does connect to Pita, but those connections are a long ways away, but you can count on similar mythos between this story and that. It's currently rated T (for teen -game rater voice-) but because I give no fugs, its rating will eventually march up to M.
The second one is based around a character I play in Final Fantasy XIV. It's more of an in-character blog/illustrated story You probably won't know what's going on unless you've played FFXIV, but I try to include explanations in case there are people attempting to read who haven't played.
I've also been poking at the wiki. Not too much new yet, but I've added a couple of pages and some corresponding images.

First and foremost I just want to say its good to see you're ok. I know that can sound and/or feel hollow from a "voice on the internet" but it really is always a good thing to hear that a creative (and humorous) person is still out there. Second, i'm pretty sure more than a few of us (long time) commenters would be ok if you wanted to spitball some ideas their way if you just needed someone to talk over ideas with. As for being possibly burnt out ... Yeah I know that feeling. Had an ongoing saga (read as RP story) for several years with other people. It now sits unfinished, to my everlasting annoyance.

A thanks Spikes, that means a lot. I've tried spit balling ideas off of friends in the past with only a mild 20% success rate. It seems my ideas sound way too twisted or awkward when explained, so I try and puzzle things out on my own. Thanks for the offer/suggestion though. :D I have a couple of co-authored stories like your RP situation. Even though it's been 15+ years, I told my friend it will be made into a webcomic/story and finished, with or without his help. XD he's still fighting me every time I mention it (says the characters are "retired" and should be left "in peace") but I refuse to leave a story unfin8shed. I'm way too stubborn.
