Meet Feng Mao. Or Mao Feng since last names are spoken 1st in Chinese. Though they're in Europe so it's probably Feng Mao, right? I don't know how this stuff works (and I don't really care since it's not needed in the story :P)
For those that saw these flashback pages long ago when they were originally posted you get a treat cause this page is NEW!
This was my 1st page to draw in a LONG time. Turned out fairly well IMO
Hope you enjoy!

Vickie: If life things hadn't hit me so hard I'd probably be past 1200 as well ;_; Though the story would have been quite different if I kept on my original path!
tupapayon:Thanks for being patient! And yes: Yo Momma is a great answer!!!

Except Emella. She jumped from Rick's younger defenseless 14 year old sister to his 21 year old legal guardian sister with the most maturity.

One good thing about writing teens is that it makes it so much easier to write them doing illogical things at the worst times. Teens tend to lack a lot of that empathy stuff and can be very selfish when they really shouldn't! Though it's not like I couldn't have made adults with the same "defects" to be honest I changed the ages appearances and stories of the characters in my last story overhaul before starting prologue on DD. Originally Sally was the only teen and she was 17. When I made them up while I was a teen they were older. When I got older I wanted to adjust for what I presumed would be my target audience. Teen to early adult.

Nah, just familiar plot devices. Nothing wrong with plot devices. Real life fits the same cliches as fiction, and teenagers are just insufferable in any universe. (One reason my characters range from 25 to 50ish. XD Although, I must admit I am enjoying writing my sarcastic tween side character. I think if she was a main character, I'd have to destroy her.)

Vickie: Well, maybe that's why the parents think this way stronger? Since they are sorta nomadic by jumping back and forth from London to Shanghai often? :P Like wishful thinking? It's probably just cause of the author's fascination with Ranma and my subconscious making family dojos want to carry on with their children marrying that the show pushed!

Keith: my family are probably an exception to small town matchmaker rules. I'm from a nomadic family, who never end up as adults in the state where they were born and marry people from other regions, coasts, or countries. The idea of childhood sweethearts is ridiculous to us. (My sis lives in Australia now with the husband she met while teaching in Japan. My dad was born in Chicago. Mom in WV. Grandma was a Canadian born in China...)

Tupapayon: You snuck that comment in while I was already replying! You'll get to see what that kid is going to do Thursday!

Ozone: Thanks! Bright colors for a bright day!!! :D Brogan68: Thank you! Glad you like it! Comicman86: With great design comes great responsibility. Or something like that! Thanks! Vickie: Ugh. You're lucky. My parents used to say crap like this about me while me and my female friends were right there. Embarrassing and traumatizing to say the least!

Many parents prefer ignorance but, teenagers will do what comes natural… I guess… so… is that kid going to go all Kung fu soccer on them?

God I hope my parents didn't have that convo with anyone else's parents. I can't imagine who since I hung out with my sister, my cat, or books. Either they'd be disappointed or elated that I didn't wind up coupling with anyone from our sad little town. (Most "high school sweethearts" I know are divorced anyway.)
