For convenience I have the speech bubbles below the image in case you don't wish to enlarge the image and scroll.
So why the super large page you ask??? And what does FLIP OVER BOOK mean?
This page is actually TWO pages! This is a 2 page splash turned sideways. Keep in mind that in PRINT form this book will have 2 stories. It'll be 2 issues in 1 and you will flip the comic over to read the other story. There is no wrong issue to read 1st. Obviously I have to make 1 story before the other though =p
These 2 pages are the last pages for BOTH stories! That's why you get to see Fenny and Sally here. So in a way this is a glimpse into their story's end too. Very very little context to work with though so have fun with speculation!
And speaking of speculation! What can o' worms is being opened up now?!!! Do any Prologue readers remember the woman here? And who is this other guy???
Hold on to your seats! This is just a small preview into what's about to start hitting the fan in this new storyline of Devon Legacy!

Nice seeing those flashbacks like that. I remember these too well!

That makes me feel better because I had no idea how or where I'd put those instructions! :p Every page is used already!

Ah. I forgot about it being upside down. Having trouble mental imaging today. (My journal book thing was upside down too.) Also, I'm used to reader intellect being underestimated. They still label mangas "read right to left" despite the obvious orientation of their covers.

What would be confusing? You turn the book over and upside down to read the other story. I'm just asking because I didn't think it'd be confusing. I remember seeing a comic that did this when I was a kid and I thought it was super cool. The only thing that is more unique will be these 2 pages being turned sideways forcing the reader to spin the book a bit. Which was the only solution I could come up with to have a shared ending that would work starting from either side. This way no matter which side you read you still have to turn the book to read the pages. I thought it was quite brilliant of me myself!

Neat concept. I had a blank jornal once that was weird. It had two front covers. One was a moon and had moon marks on the corners of the pages. The other a sun. I wrote a story in in on one side only and you flipped it to continue. (Inidentally, I hope you put reading instructions on the front page(s) to avoid confusing the hell out of everyone -- unless that's your goal.)

There's supposed to actually be a lot of that =D The Preds, Project Warrioress, one of the main heroes getting caught up in a building that's collapsing while their partner watches on. Yep lots of deja vu in this!
