Yay, answers :-) Of course, personally, I regard the soul to be complete. As actual human beings we may be incomplete, but our souls are complete, and able to perceive the incompleteness of our lives, and to recognize the pieces of the puzzle when we find them, and that is what draws us to that which completes us. But then how about this? What if the male or female "essence" isn't actually parts of the soul, but merely the person's recognition of him- or herself as a man or woman? Then what has been lost in the Dragon Doctors is not a part of their souls, but their mind's ideas and memories of their gender, actualized through magic.

Could the Crax REALLY not be wondering why this warm, living being has suddenly been turned to stone during a routine checkup? It's good. Curveballs like this keep the story from losing all conflict. If there isn't SOME complication to the story, or this particular crisis (especially with all the buildup to it in previous panels) you get some REALLY uncompelling story writing. David Eddings has been sliding down this slope for awhile now... Great work Speedball. I must say as an aspiring writer, I'm rather impressed with your writing. I'm looking forward to the next panel.

In panel 4 it almost looks like the Crax tenticles are invading even this mind link. They did say the Crax were very adaptable, could it be creeping into this state to try and gain some control of it's situation?

Hehehehehe.. Wow, from outside it looks very... VERY disorienting.... I guess that it wouldn't be to them because basicaly they are just walking through their memories and emotions. Definately very convinent to be able to do that though... Oh by the way Speed... It looks like you went a little heavy on Sarin's right Breasticle.... It makes it look just a lil awkward.... And KILI REVEALED!!!!!
