Easter 2013

So I did a little suggestive Easter pinup… have to say I feltly slightly weird with it considering my story's recent subject matter, but I went ahead with it because…
a) what happened in one's past shouldn't inhibit one's present, including things sexual.
b) human sexuality is really a natural and good thing (although like all things human, it can be perverted and corrupted). Stories that artificially shy away from it are being disingenuous. Mine won't (but I will stay within teen-rated guidelines)
c) Easter, while primarily a Christian holiday, does coopt certain lusty pagan elements and symbols (eggs=birth, bunnies=rapid reproduction). It's springtime; birds and bees time :)
Oh yeah, I'm experimenting with color a little bit and plan to with the comic in general. We'll see how it goes. I'm still afraid of painting too dark. Going too dark with watercolor=no fixing it. It's very unforgiving. As I get more confident I'll try to get a little darker.

Wow that's really gorgeous. The pose is lovely and natural and the colourings really nice too.

Thanks Banes. As always what's really exploitation and isn't is so hazy. Ultimately I leave that up to the creator (and of course I decide myself while reading). Gotta admit I follow a few of the mature/adult comics here and find them handled well. I keep mind teen-rated for a variety of reasons - no real need to go into that here. Thanks again...

Great pic...you obviously know what you're doing with anatomy. Insightful views on sexuality, there - I agree that it's part of life and exploitation of it in a webcomic can be gross, but ignoring it is not necessarily the right approach either (for a story like this, that explores all kinds of inner consciousness and everything, it DOES play a role!). Really enjoying this tale! (or tail, as in bunny, for this page :))

Thanks Guys :) @cres0055: Yah I have a phobia against dark paint, but I need to try. Not trying=failing, right? And yeah, scenes only a few pages back might have been done (or read) months ago in real time. Easy to get hazy with what happens - such is the nature of webcomics *shrug*

Meh, I think I was more lost cause of the Webcomic format sometimes when reading things like a year ago certain aspects get blurred, like seeing her jump to the balcony or beat up thugs is bigger then landing on a car or tripping, kinds of things.
