When you're in a relationship, I'm not sure there is such a thing as ‘innocent flirting’. It's certainly fun, and the attention you may get is flattering, but it sure seems to cause problems if allowed to escalate to ‘inappropriate’ levels, whatever those are. One problem is that it often proves to be not so ‘innocent’ for at least one of the parties involved. It's hard for us to want to admit, though…. cuz it's fun ;)
.
But that just a little side issue, as Kimber Lee now has a new visitor, and is deeply troubled. Hope I didn't make it too easy to guess who it might be :)
.
Thanks for reading everyone :)

@Peipei: haha yeah, a 'little' flirting is fine, just keep it little, right... ;) Why is she flustered - revealed Thursday!
Peipei at 7:59AM, March 11, 2014
Hehehe I love the little exchange in the second panel. A little flirting has never been a bad thing. Seeing smells? Kim is obviously flustered by these happenings, but why?

@Bravo1102: Well... ;)

It was too good to last. Can't hide out forever.

@Plymayer: Thanks! They're beautiful animals! A bit on the stupid side (they'll drink themselves to death haha), but beautiful...!
plymayer at 9:58PM, March 10, 2014
You do horses very well too.

Murphy's Law...that's very true-to-life as well!
KimLuster at 8:37AM, March 10, 2014
@Banes: Yup, the limits of flirting...! That's a toughie! Of course, as soon as Kimber Lee relaxes and flirts a bit, strange visitors come along ;)

And I could write an essay on those questions (not many answers) about flirting and how much is okay/how much isn't, etc etc...nobody'd READ it, but still!

I love that she was flirting with him a little bit! It surely made his day, and it made sense for Kim too, with her relaxing a little, and with the excitement of the rodeo-sales-demo-thingie. Cowboy lingo. I know it all.

@FC: Thanks! I think you're right. I do try watercolor pencils again about 8 pages from now (I read about a new technique but still don't like how it turned out). I think I might keep WC Pencils around for when I want rough textures (maybe tree bark or ground or something... I think you're the one that suggested that). Anyway, I'll keep practicing to get better - I feel I've made decent progress so far - Thanks again!

Your rendering of forms is getting bolder and more sophisticated. I think the standard watercolors are working better for you than the pencils.
KimLuster at 4:56AM, March 10, 2014
@Plymayer: Yeah, I'm trying new stuff with the art, but decided to not talk about it so much - just do it :)
plymayer at 4:47AM, March 10, 2014
Who could it be now? Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition! The artwork has taken on a colorful play like feel. Goes great with Kimber Lee's feeling of safety.
