A bit more montage of life-on-the-ranch. Who says you can't try different things on the same page? For the first couple of panels, I attempted a slight cartoonish-look. For the last five panels I attempted watercolor pencils again (I read about a new ‘trick’ - it didn't work). Oh well… I'm learning to just have fun experimenting instead of getting frustrated that I still don't have a ‘signature style’ yet.
.
Thanks for reading everyone :)

A nice mix of styles. I feel for her too, she must feel very lost and alone at times.

@FC: Well, I'm certainly not against 'ripping off' haha, in fact a few pages from now I experiment with watercolor 'lifting' techniques, inspired by the wonderful light and dark contour muscles shading of your stuff (mine's not near as good, but I like the results so far...). @Peipei: Haha yeah Salvatore is an ass, but largely harmless. Then again, a spanking may do him a world of good :D

Hahaha that boy is gonna be in a world of trouble if he keeps at it with Emilio. Still trying to put the moves on Kimber, even around her husband xD.

I like the "cartoonish" style of the first two panels. The gestures of your line-work are more relaxed and the character's emotions come through more palpably. Then again the mood of the last panel is a nice use of your current "house" style. My (slightly tongue in cheek)rule of thumb for finding one's signature style is this: Shamelessly rip off every style you can find, and one day you will wake up and find you have your own style. And remember that whomever you are ripping off from stole their style from someone else!

@bravo1102: Kimber Lee's pretty good at excuses, no doubt... Like when Emilio and the Kids first showed up, she was awfully fast yelling 'This is all a Dream!' and trying to run away instead of confronting them... A Lot of weird and awkward producing things have happened. Still, surrender isn't in the cards yet!

Can't she at least snuggle? Almost seems like she's making excuses.

@Banes: I love long comments haha... And yeah, this is gonna be addressed - way too juicy not too ;)
Banes at 5:38AM, April 3, 2014
That would be really strange and alienating, to not be able to sleep. And I guess this setup negates a certain something Emilio and Kim might have been missing...or is Emilio too weirded out to go there? We must know! Or I must know! And he'd better go there! (even if it's behind closed...barn doors or something! Or is it a rooftop rendezvous? Am I way off, here? Is this comment lengthy enough yet? I must know!

I've never seen that movie - now I gotta :)

That scene was full of pastel colors too, as I recall.

It is like the scene in the 1986 movie Manhunter (the first time that the Red Dragon was made into a movie) where Will Graham (William Petersen) was on the beach with his family. The calm before the storm.
