Back from Minnesota - Land of 10,000 lakes, my A$$ haha! Some of those ‘lakes’ *might* qualify as a small pond! But it's a beautiful state, great food, and the Mall of America is a splendid exercise in American Excess! Anyway, back to the grind…
.
Artwise, I tried something unusual with this page, and it was way too time consuming, so I don't think I'll try it again (maybe a modified version later on..)
.
It's not that hard to guess what they're hearing is it?
.
Thanks for reading everyone!

I know I'm late. I've been kind of binge reading your story and I am enjoying it a lot! I was going to wait until I got caught up to comment but I love the interaction of the characters so much it broke my silence. ok, back to reading.

It just has to be a helicopter full of government agents!

@Peipei: Thanks!! Only 7 Hells? There's at least 9 in this story haha.
Peipei at 10:01PM, June 3, 2014
What in 7 hells is that sound :S? Also, this page looks moderately more colorful than usual. I like it a lot! :D
KimLuster at 6:18PM, June 3, 2014
Hey Sky - Thank You! :)) Hey my art doesn't compare to yours (especially the early pages haha), but I'm so pleased you're interested. Zombies... Well... Hmmm... If you're able to slog through my backlog maybe it'll make better sense. It makes sense to the rest of you, right? Right? Anyone... :D
skyangel at 4:30PM, June 3, 2014
I never realised you had been so busy, your archive is very impressive! I'll have to start at the beginning to really understand what's going on now but it seems to involve zombies which is cool enough! XD Love the art btw!

@bravo: Thanks! Yeah, I don't know what's a good balance (in my head) of getting a page is 'good enough' to post vs spending too much time on it to make it better. I mean, all of us can spend 2/3 weeks on each page and make them look out of this world, but I just can't see keeping the story interesting with such infrequent posting. The style on this page would maybe take me a week per page minumum, unless I found a 'trick' to optimize it... Oh well!

The colors are so rich. Looks great. Too time consuming, too time consuming. The choppers are coming in, too bad this isn't M*A*S*H
KimLuster at 4:14AM, June 3, 2014
@jgib99 & plymayer: Thanks! And has everyone seen the Godzilla movie? haha
plymayer at 11:24PM, June 2, 2014
Great page. Love the colors and the emotions.
plymayer at 11:23PM, June 2, 2014
They don't need Mothra. They need Gamera, guardian of the universe, protector of small children.
jgib99 at 9:48PM, June 2, 2014
Great page. And damn! Banes beat me to the Mothra comment.
KimLuster at 7:11PM, June 2, 2014
Haha I deleted one of you dupe posts :) And Mothra...! Dammit I'm getting too predictable :)
Banes at 6:46PM, June 2, 2014
Whoops!
Banes at 6:45PM, June 2, 2014
It does look damn good. Glad to see your trip didn't slow you down! I was wondering if it'd be a long absence after your comments last page - that would've been a drag. And that sound is obviously Mothra, come back to fight Godzilla once again. An odd turn for this comic...

@FC: Hey Thanks! I normally (except on large areas) do watercolor on dry paper, but this time I saturated the entire paper with water first, then let it 'almost' dry completely before applying paint. It was very difficult to stop 'bleeding' all over the place, and also re-wet parts that dried too much without interfering with parts that I'd already painted... Like I said, it was time-consuming, but I do wish I could figure out a way to make it work better. I haven't given up on it, but I do get away from it next pages... I'll try something similar again at some point
fallopiancrusader at 3:08PM, June 2, 2014
Whatever you did art-wise, it's attaining a whole new level of richness. Is it a different kind of paper? It seems that your washes are a lot smoother. There's also almost no pure white paper showing through any more, which gives the images more presence. I hope you can find the time to do more in this style, but I know how rare that commodity can be. I do believe that sound in the background is the sound of a certain substance about to hit the fan...
