Well… I know several exected/wanted Kimber Lee to put a big curb-stomp on the rest of the soldiers, but she's got something to say first (next page). Speaking of the soldiers, they dragged all their wounded off to the side so I wouldn't have to draw them.

I also noticed that several of the soldiers look like Homer Simpson in their chem gear…

This page is a bit late and the next one or two likely will be too. I'm doing some presentations and helping a bit with the DD awards. I know the Duck has it's problems, but it's a free site, so I feel it's proper to give back a little. That, and work isn't cooperating either… Lot's of unpaid overtime… grrrr

Haha I like your idea to minimise drawing all the soldiers. I never relish doing crowd scenes but if I do, I find it's only really the first four that really need the most attention in a small panel as any others can be partly hidden behind them which means less work.

Heh, I love how everyone is so polite. If things get ugly, all she has to do is duck, and many of the soldiers might end up shooting each other.

@Banes: Thanks! Yeah, I hoped Kimber Lee's quiet level of uber-confidence would make up for a bunch of Ass-Kicking... at least sort of :)

The camera angles are awesome once again! So intense! More intense than an action scene would've been; I liked the quiet threat to whoever fires.

@bravo: I suppose in a comic fighting is always 'cooler', but in real life talking is almost always better. I'm trying to treat this story as 'what would really happen...' (with mixed results lol)
