Ch. 12: Story so far...
KimLuster on Aug. 27, 2015
I know my backlog is daunting, and my plot is fairly complex, and I don't want anyone to feel they have to read it all to jump on board, so I decided a little synopsis like this would be helpful. I'm gonna put one at the beginning each new chapter (and may go back and put it in previous chapters… maybe).
.
The text is concise and to the point, largely free of drama, so feel free to skip it entirely if you wish! But if you do read it please point out typos - with this much text there's gotta be a lot of them!
.
Thanks for Reading Everyone!

This was very worthwhile doing and prompts me to think I should really do a similar thing for my own comic! I was a late starter to Godstrain as you no doubt remember me reading chunks at a time last year in a desperate bid to catch up! lol But even though I only started a year ago those early pages still seem so far back now that details have become forgotten so this is an invaluable guide for any of us who want to check back at any time for a refresher. :)

I've thought about making a "Companion" comic to my archive, so people could read it and catch up if they wanted. This is an awesome guide to get caught up on the Godstrain so far!

@El Cid: Thanks!! I actually intended to do this last chapter but forgot to... I tried adding one for last chapter but had trouble moving it back to there using the page editor...! Anyway, pretty pictures... bloody pictures coming again very soon!!

@Bravo: hehe just because I have a dense plot doesn't relieve me of being dense ;) Ya know, like just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!!

@plymayer: :D

Words! No... pictures! GAHHHH! Excellent recap. We're all Godstrain scholars now!

Ahhhh... a wall of text run away! Sorry could not resist. Some people can do dense plots, others are accused of being dense. Now you know why you get those plot development nominations.

:D @Kim: I'm experiencing pretty much the same with French at the moment.

@Tupapayon: lol The Godstrain is actual a midi-chlorian - "May the Farce be with you!"

Involuntarily I started humming the Starwars themeā¦

@Paul: Thanks so much! Yeah, I love the memory-jarring phenomenon. We actually remember so much more but we often need little stirrings to remember what we remember ;) I'm like this with Spanish - it's been so long since I've used that I really couldn't just start talking in Spanish, but if I get immersed in it (like when going to Mexico a while back) it just comes flooding back!

Love the chapter header by the way! :)

The text shows that this intricate story is rather difficult to sum up in a blurb or something, which is a sign of masterful plotting if you ask me. You did an excellent job at it, too. I doubt whether any reviewer could do it that well. I was a little surprised at myself I could actually remember all of it, or most of it at any rate, once it was mentioned - didn't think I was ever good at keeping track with anything.

@Sway: Thank you - that means a lot!!

You know, this is a really great comic. I mean, that's obvious. But when you read it page-to-page, it's sometimes easy to forget just how densely and meticulously plotted it is. This is some big-time, top-tier plotting, and you should be commended for it. It's such a complex story, but you make it easy to follow and incredibly engaging. Excellent work, as always.
