Close to boiling over!!! We've had Giant Evil Baby Eli featured for lots of pages, but it will come to a head in a few more pages, then the story will shift focus! So tolerate him a little longer ;)
.
I probably couldn've tightened some of these pages, but again, one of my goals in doing this comic is to also practice art, and depicting action scenes and dynamic postures better is included in the list!
.
Thanks for Reading Everyone!

@Barry: No, say it like Ahnold would - "Get to da choppa!" Oh God I'm haunting my own comment section - I'm sad :)
BarryCorbett at 12:36PM, Sept. 24, 2015
Nice page, Kim! Our artwork is always evolving, even when we've chosen a style to maintain. It's always a learning (and humbling) experience! Now, get to the chopper!!!!

@Skyangel: Well... Next page comes tomorrow morn ;)
skyangel at 7:59AM, Sept. 24, 2015
Come on you bombers, where are you when a gal needs ya? Weirdly I feel comforted that Kims led him away from the base as it means no more innocent bystanders get squashed in the battle.

@El Cid: Echo-location? Kimber Lee wondered if he's using something besides physical sight - this pretty much confirms it!!
El Cid at 7:59PM, Sept. 22, 2015
Pretty good aim for a guy with one dangling eyeball.

@Banes: Hey! I put them there maybe a couple weeks ago. I just took my avatar, made a copy of it without the little glow ball (which pushed my pic-editing skills to the limit), then I made copies of both, flipped horizontally ;) My original avatar was actually created via Photoshop (with step by step guidance from my brother - he's a wiz at it but I suck...) - It was made from a pic of my hand in that pose, then dolled up!! :)

Hey...are the navigation buttons different or did I just now notice them? They're cool!!
KimLuster at 4:17AM, Sept. 22, 2015
@plymayer: Yup!; @Whirlwynd: Seemed viable to me - maybe it is:D
Whirlwynd at 7:28PM, Sept. 21, 2015
Ack, I wouldn't have considered rock shrapnel either
plymayer at 10:25PM, Sept. 20, 2015
Keep going!
KimLuster at 7:59PM, Sept. 20, 2015
@Banes: Thank you very much! I wonder... am I finally thinking about settling on a style and just honing it? Hrrmmmm.. :D
KimLuster at 7:58PM, Sept. 20, 2015
@Peipei: Yup run like the Dickens (which really means run like the Devil - I love Euphemisms and minced-oaths: http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/minced-oath.html)
KimLuster at 7:56PM, Sept. 20, 2015
@Sway: Thank You! I am trying to continually work on everything you mentioned, and what you say confirms to be me that I've gotten better...! Still a ways to go though :D
KimLuster at 7:55PM, Sept. 20, 2015
@bravo: Yeah, I like to think the last several pages have been an absolute flurry of action but that's really hard to convey - only being able to update once every five days or so doesn't help! ;) And the Air Force - my man served! He said it was tough! They had to carry boxes of paper to re-fill printers, and one time the air conditioning went out...!
KimLuster at 7:52PM, Sept. 20, 2015
@tupapayon: Awesome - I'm smarter than I am too!
Banes at 7:15PM, Sept. 20, 2015
Love the layout on this page!! The art is excellent too. Bold, strong lines but still raw enough to keep the energetic feel goin! Sweet birds eye in the last panel as well !
Peipei at 5:55PM, Sept. 20, 2015
On to plan B! But for now, run like the dickens!
Sway at 8:00AM, Sept. 20, 2015
I definitely think that the goal of experimentation over perfection is a good one to follow; it's one that I adhere to myself. Drawing comics should be fun, and being overly-critical of your own work tends to make it feel more like, well, work. In any case, I think the layout and the imagery is really strong here. As always you have a great eye for dynamism and action. And keep it up with the Giant Evil Baby! I'm completely enjoying the utter lunacy/horror of the situation.

Oh yeah shards of rock are as deadly as the lovely invention of Major Shrapnel. So are bits of tree. And you know with Kimber Lee's accelerated sense of time all this could be happening in seconds. Takes time for the phone call and the pilots to suit up and choosing the right bomb can take FOREVER. Fly-fly boys have little sense of urgency. The USAF's biggest worry is when the cable goes out, not when their foxhole is full of water and it's raining sheets. http://joyreactor.com/post/459927

He's smarter than he looks... unlike me, I look smarter than I am...
