@skyangel: yeah... sometimes I envy the animals... they don't have memories like we do, but they also don't fear the future, nor have sorrow of the past! Our sense of Time - a blessing and a curse!!
It's only natural self-preservation for any creature to be ruled by fear and avoid a situation that has proved dangerous in the past, it's pretty much what the purpose of memory exists for to remember the good and the bad so to face supress ones utmost fears for the sake of others is indeed a supreme sacrifice. No wonder he cries!
Oh my Lord...powerful scene. And it gives even more realism to the whole environment. It didn't even occur to me that in an installation full of soldiers, some of them would have made enormous sacrifices and suffered enormous loss. Amazing page.
@Paul: Wow thank you!! Truthfully I did have a fear this page would seem a little melodramatic, but... Well I've never gone through anything close to this (although I bet childbirth can feel close ;)), but I've met people who have, and they never quit either!! I recall a quote from the movie Starman: 'You're at your best - when things are worst!'
Now, that's some really advanced cajoling! Seriously, I admire the kind of enormous courage this page is about. Sgt. Wycoff reminds me of someone I know who'd served time in an East German Stasi prison for political reasons and has afterwards chosen to talk freely about his experiences to everyone who asks him to, instead of trying to just let these dreadful things slip into oblivion - especially what with the GDR nostalgia of some people that appears in the media now and again. Thankfully, I've never had to go through anything of that kind, but these talks have always been very inspiring for me, this way of having the balls to face one's past for the greater good. It's a rare character trait that all the more deserves our appreciation, and I can tell you that you did an incredibly great and realistic job at portraying it. And Kimber's expression provides the icing on the cake!

Incredible how someone seemingly as strong as steel as Anthony could be so torn up inside like that!

Its amazing how some people can go through the worst hell imaginable, but refuse to be broken and never give up.
