Peeps are not to be eaten. Obviously some animals have to die so that we may live but preferably they die of natural causes and we don't waste the bodies.
Regardless, the peeps on the peep farm are raised only to go to country fairs and have a wholesome good time. Chickens do not get eaten in their world.
