Reptiles don't like having their basking time interrupted. XD
Oh and I figured out something that might be part of the problem with the comments: for some browsers the “say it” button looks greyed out after you log in and enter a comment, but will still work if you click it. The admins are not sure why, apparently one of those things the programmers are still trying to get the gremlins to stop chewing on. XD

I get a kick out of it whenever I see Arc pop up on TWC, still makes me do a double take. ^^ Capri's a satyr, like Stone, they're kind of an oddity in the Greening, because they do look somewhat baseline, but thats for a couple of reasons. They make for good "public faces" for the Greening, for one thing- freak people who aren't used to mixers out less than say, one who looks like Mander. Their splices are just as major as the rest beyond their appearance, though; they just have it in the form of things like enhanced strength, endurance, fine-tuned metabolism... Basically, she could sit around eating potato chips all day and still look like that. XD Theres also the matter of them being "middle mangament"- they still have to earn their splices one at a time. (So they get stuck having to choose between things like a alcohol-poisoning proof liver and cat-eye nightvision- guess which one Stone picked. XD)

Yaaaay! Congratulations Scorp! I just saw Arc as the verification icon on the TWC voting page! You're moving up in the world. :-) Also, what is Capri? She seems to be a relatively "normal" human (except for the headgear).

I stand by my comment (made on your dA page) ... the new girls are hot! LOL I hadn't thought of the need for the reptilian mixes to bask! Excellent thinking on that. And good way to overcome the whole seeming lack of outside-going ... knew that someday we'd find a GOOD use for tanning beds!

The nighthawks are a lot of lemur, a little bit of kinkajou, some panther/leopard, and their eyes are a mix of owl, hawk, and some mantis shrimp retina, meaning they can see slightly into the infrared and ultraviolet ranges. Basically, they're ninjas with built in nightvision and climbing gear.^^

I can imagine. So, what mix of species is Nightshade?
