The flying monkey hallucination and our hero's weakness for goth chicks come up again in subsequent issues. I don't know where the hell that monkey came from, other than the cover of a Stephen King book that my Grandmother had, with one of those creepy toy monkeys with the cymbals. I've never actually seen one of those toy monkeys, by the way, other than on that particular book jacket. Go figure.

I see those toy monkeys with the cymbals whenever I close my eyes. That's what I get for working at a 'toy monkey with cymbals' factory.

There we go.. goth chics are cool so I get it, but here is a great example of why NOT to get drunk... you never know where you will end up!
