When this country started you could start a business by just hanging up a hand-painted sign, now you have to jump through so many unnecessary hoops it's not even funny.

My dad has a couple of online businesses were hoping will make some money.

Glad you all liked it! :-) hkmaly - You may not have to schlep to a variety of offices, but plenty of things still need to be mailed, not to mention dealing with government offices. "Expect a response in 7-10 business days." 10 business days later you call up & get "Expect a response in 7-10 business days, starting now." *rolls eyes* rmccool - Yep... Uncle Rice - Lucky people in North Dakota. I have nothing against hanging rip-off artists, although I doubt corrupt politicians would agree with that.

North Dakota. As I understand, North Dakota still does it the old fashioned way. No license needed. They may still hang rip off artists though, but I may be ok with that.

thats about how it goes.. when i set up my booth I got gas to go there..20 time to set up..a truck of rocks is heavy.. fees to set up..16 food 10 ect.. profit 8 ...would of been cheaper to give stuff away..

You think those signs you can hand-paint on were free? Or the paint? Ok, they was cheaper and it was less items ... still I think it could be worse. Like if you would need to physically go to multiple offices to get necessary documents. I mean ... in todays internet age, you don't need to do that, right?
