Sorry for no updates. More computer problems, sickness, and trying to learn some new art programs all ganged up on me.

Why do so many art programs not have a simple way to draw straight up & down lines??? I suspect writers of art programs hate artists.

Okay, Krita kinda has a way to make straight lines. Of course you have to make a box first and erase what you don't need...

Photoshop I'm familiar with, unfortunately it's not on the computer I have. I wasn't having any success in Gimp or MediBang. Not sure about Krita. Forgot I had that when I was struggling to get this comic finished using the other two.

In Photoshop, if you hold down SHIFT while drawing a line or using the Lasso tool, it will keep the line straight. I think it's the same in GIMP, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, but how do ensure it's exactly horizontal or vertical. Used to be that was a basic art tool, but now it's either blind luck or you have a better eye & mouse than I do.

hold down the shift key. it creates a line from the lkast point you clicked to the new place you click
