Let's get a bit backward. Bass was falling down after beating Slashman and being out of juice again. In the comic he falls down into the ground, BUT! What would have happen if he felt on Springman just like ShdowBlade suggested it? Here's the answer!

well the joke was to have wily to create an original robot master based off the cliche jagged rocks at the bottom of every cliff/falling scene. It's kind of like the "spikedwallman" joke except with more of an "ow my everything" instead of a "oh crap I just jumped into a room full of spikes"

And now that we talk about this I'm not sur to really understant what you mean by a jagged rockman. Do you mean a Rockman in pieces?
