52 - We call it "Pop Maize"

I think the hard part is that it's really hard to get the salt flavor to stick to the kernels. We did manage to get a decent batch, but really it was just where I left about a quarter of our original “salted death” batch in the bowl, and added another whole batch of popcorn. It all kind of evened out by the end.
Oh, and for the curious we needed the popcorn to go with showings of Max Payne, Super Mario Bros., and The House Bunny (yeah, we kind of lost our theme at that point). House Bunny was good, though predictable. Mario is a delightful movie… it's just… insane. I'm frankly impressed at this point that they could get… that… out of the Mario Bros. series. Max Payne wasn't really good enough to really stand out, or bad enough to be entertaining for it. Not terrible, or anything, just kinda forgettable. I wish they'd kept the voiceover from the start throughout the whole thing, since for whatever reason he affected a gruff, Rorschach/Batman voice for it, though he sounded perfectly normal throughout the rest of the film.

Lemme guess, no reason to use the popper cuz its just easier to buy microwavable bags? and when you did use the popper... this happens...

also, those little thigns of powdered cheese are actually REALLY tastey if you can figure those out. and if the spray butter isn't letting the salt stick enough, and giving too much buttery flavor get a spray bottle of water and mist the popcorn, too.

If you haven't been, use the spary can butter, coat the top of the popcorn completely but lightly, mix it up so the butter spreads around, only do salt in pinches. Butter and Popcorn have VERY subtle flavors,s o salt easily overpowers it
