Episode 2 - Something evil this way comes
Calintz on Jan. 19, 2007
This should now start to lead to some more characters being introduced. Although I've mentioned the presence of an Author, I'm weighing the pros and cons of continuing that idea, but there will be the monster Knuckles mentions
I'm hoping people can be leniant with my work at the moment as I've just started out, but obviously tips on how to make it better are appreciated. If you're just going to post how bad it is, don't bother posting.

Save as png, and try spritersresource.com for some nice backgrounds. You can improve, like everyone does. Keep going!

Try not to have your characters in the same position/pose like you have for the first two panels, as it just looks like they're staying still. Backgrounds will help with that when you bring them in, too. 5 for the great attitude, too.

Good, good. Usually new people act assholish but you do not. And therefore you can grow and become a good spriter. I see potential ^.^

thanks for the tips jef_dam5, it'll take me a few comics to get it looking good I reckon, as you might have guessed, I'm a bit new to the whole comic thing. Expect proper backgrounds for the next one though

Yeah, so eh... It's kinda really really really bad... Save as PNG, it clears the fuzziness. Don't use bright colored two-toned backgrounds. Instead, get a real one. Fill the textboxes with white and make a real textboxtail like you see in other comics. No 4thwallbreaking. That means, no authors, no talking to the audience. It's been done for like a 100 times.
