I think a long time ago you said that you were using brush pens for the backgrounds and tech pens (microns or some such) for the characters and foreground. Is that still the case?
Yep! More or less. Sakura also makes a graphic pen that uses more ink and is tapered like the brush pen, but is more firm and as such can be more precise, so I've been using that for inking the character's bodies on some of the larger panels - mostly just to help save a bit of time. Faces are still always done with the microns though, my hand isn't steady enough for anything else. :D
